Frazz Dazzler

The Frazz Dazzler by Dr. Scientist is a dual-channel, aggressive fuzz pedal with a wide gain range and a full 3-band equalizer. Its features include low and high gain fuzz channels with LED indicators selectable with a foot switch, an active 3-band EQ, voltage starve control, high-quality analog signal path, premium parts and components throughout, true bypass with soft touch relay switching, full control over wet/dry mix, expression pedal control over mix, buffered input and output, and top-mounted audio and power jacks.

The pedal also offers various knobs for control, including BASS, MID, TREB, MIX, GAIN, VOLTS, VOL, Gain Footswitch, and Bypass. It operates with a mono input, mono output, and TRS expression input, and has a treble control, mid control, and bass control. The expression pedal input requires a passive expression pedal with 10kΩ to 100kΩ of resistance with a TRS cable.

The dimensions of the Frazz Dazzler are 70mm wide, 129mm long, and 59mm tall (2.75” wide, 5.1” long, 2.3” tall). It operates with 100mA at 9VDC and uses true bypass with soft touch relay switching.

The pedal is designed and handmade in B.C., Canada, and is known for its unique circuit topology for extremely high gain even on the low gain channel.
