The Gain Changer by Barber Electronics is a highly versatile and compact overdrive pedal designed to meet the overdrive needs of guitar players. It incorporates sounds from the LTD, LTD SR, and unLimiTeD pedals. The pedal features a toggle switch for EQ settings, allowing users to switch between LTD SR EQ, LTD v2 EQ, and a "flat+fat" setting for a balanced sound with added fundamentals.
The Gain Switch toggle allows users to switch between medium/high gain and low gain settings. The volume control sets the pedal's output, while the tone control adjusts equalization. The Gain control sets the amount of sustain and drive, offering transparent dynamics and harmonics.
The Gain Changer SR model measures only 2.3” wide and offers a vast spectrum of EQ and gain. It features a true-bypass footswitch, generous clearance between the footswitch and knobs, and utilizes real honest solder lugs for jacks, toggles, and pots. The pedal has a current draw of 12mA and operates on 9-18 VDC with negative tip (power adaptor not included).
