The X-15 Ultrafoot by ART is a real-time MIDI foot controller designed to provide flexible control over MIDI-controllable devices. Here are some of its features and technical specifications:
- Instant access to individual effects
- Two real-time assignable expression pedals
- Simple "plug in and go" operation
- DC bypass out jack for use with older units
- Rugged steel assembly
- MIDI IN, OUT, & THRU
- Send MIDI data on three separate channels at once
- Durable composite activator pads
- Non-volatile memory to store and remember changes
- Bright visible program display
- Switchable LED indicator lights
- Extra heavy-duty scuff-resistant paint
- Ability to dump parameters to MIDI storage device
The X-15 Ultrafoot has two operating modes: Preset and Effect modes. In Preset mode, the Bank up and down pads rotate through banks, and pressing a numbered pad selects a preset in the bank and sends a MIDI program change message. In Effect mode, the Bank up and down pads increment or decrement through presets, and the numbered pads function as MIDI on/off controllers for individual effects.
The X-15 Ultrafoot is fully programmable, allowing users to assign MIDI controllers to the expression pedals, control individual effects, and customize various parameters such as system MIDI channel, bypass mode, and pedal inter-message delay time.
