The Aphex Bass Exciter, model 1402, is designed for all types of basses with magnetic or piezo pickups, whether active or passive. It features a high impedance instrument input (10 megohms) and a low impedance instrument output that can drive a long cable effortlessly. The exciter is tailored for deep tone and sustain while adding life to the bite or slap, providing power, depth, expression, punch, feeling, and projection. The pedal also includes Aural Exciter and Big Bottom features, along with controls for Lo Tune, Lo Blend, Hi Tune, and Hi Blend.
