The Aguilar DB 599 Bass Compressor Pedal features a VCA compressor with a soft-knee threshold circuit, designed specifically for bass players. It offers musically appropriate compression ratios and attack/release parameters, making it easy to dial in a compressed tone. The pedal is studio-quiet with no artifacts and is constructed with heavy-duty steel. It has one 1/4" jack input and one 1/4" jack output, and operates on a nine-volt DC power supply.
