The Yamaha REX50 is a digital multi-effector released in 1987/88. It is a compact and lightweight unit that offers a range of effects and features. The REX50 provides 30 preset effects in ROM and 60 in RAM, utilizing PCM sound generation method. It features a numeric LCD display in red on black, and offers MIDI control. The unit includes two stereo inputs and two stereo outputs, and is operated using buttons. The REX50 is known for its great delays and special effects, making it suitable for a variety of instruments including keys, guitar, bass, and vocals.
