The Max Preamp & Dual Compressor by Universal Audio is a versatile pedal that integrates award-winning UAFX dual-engine processing to deliver the iconic sound of three legendary limiters and an iconic tube preamp. The pedal features the classic compression colors of a Teletronix LA-2A, UA 1176, and Dyna Comp, allowing users to explore a wide range of tones and textures. Additionally, it offers the warm tube compression of the Teletronix LA-2A and the gritty compression of the classic Dyna Comp, enabling users to achieve lo- fi compression and funky overdrive effects.

Furthermore, the Max Preamp & Dual Compressor includes the legendary UA 610 tube preamp, providing warm detail and character with the perfect amount of harmonics and grit. Users can stack compressors in any combination for a diverse array of sounds and textures, allowing for personalized and unique compression and preamp effects. The pedal also offers the option to tweak EQ settings, utilize serial/parallel operation, and add a sidechain bass filter for fully customized compression and preamp effects through the UAFX Control app.

The Max Preamp & Dual Compressor requires a modern 400 mA isolated power supply (sold separately) for operation. The pedal's dimensions are approximately 2.56" in height and 3.62" in width. It features 2 x ¼” TS inputs and 2 x ¼” TS outputs, with a USB Type-C port for updates via a computer.
