Strange Master

The ThroBak Strange Master is a versatile treble booster pedal designed to deliver classic Dallas Rangemaster tones with modern features. Here are the technical specifications and features:

- Treble Boost Knob: Located on the top left side, rotating this knob clockwise increases treble boost and drives the power tubes into distortion. Classic treble boost distortion typically begins at the 1 o’clock setting.

- Treble Boost/Full Range Boost Switch: Positioned on the top right, this switch offers two modes. The left position activates the original treble boost mode, while the right position provides a full range boost with increased bass boost. This allows users to fine-tune the pedal to their guitar amp rig.

- External Bias Adjustment Trim Knob: Also located on the top right, this knob allows users to fine-tune the character of the treble boost. Rotating the knob clockwise tightens the bass response and general character of the boost, while rotating it counterclockwise loosens the character of the distortion.

- Germanium and Silicon Transistors: The pedal includes both Germanium and Silicon transistors, which are switchable using a toggle switch on the top of the unit. The Silicon mode offers higher gain tones with more edge, while the Germanium mode provides lower gain, rounder tones.
