The Orion by Spaceman Effects is a true analog spring reverb pedal, measuring 6 ¼ by 4 ¾ inches, making it the smallest real spring reverb pedal available. It features four control knobs for customization: Dwell to adjust the intensity of the dual springs, Tone for sweeping between bright and dark reverb tones, Blend for controlling the dry-to-wet ratio, and Volume for adjusting the overall output level.
The pedal is designed to eliminate unwanted splash sounds from stomping or interference from kick drums and bass amps. It is powered by a standard 9 volts DC and features true-bypass relay switching. The Orion is hand-soldered and handmade in Portland, Oregon, with meticulous attention to detail, utilizing high-quality open-frame jacks and military-spec wiring.
Technical Specifications:
- Input Resistance: 1 Meg Ohm
- Bypass Current Draw: 15 mA
- Engaged Current Draw: 45 mA
- Input Voltage: 9V DC
The Orion is available in various limited editions, including Silver, Black, Polished, Blue, White, and Copper. It is designed to provide a classic and unique reverb sound without digitizing the tone, offering inspiration for musicians.
