The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Black Fountain Delay V3 is a versatile delay pedal capturing the warm, modulated sound of vintage oil can delays with a modern feature set. It offers three distinct modes: Modern, Organ, and Vintage, each providing a different take on the voice of the delay. The pedal features tap tempo functionality, allowing users to set the tempo on the fly with two taps of a footswitch and subdivide that tempo into quarter, eighth, or triplet notes. Additionally, there is a hidden function where holding the Tap footswitch momentarily maximizes feedback, leading to a nearly sound-on- sound effect.
The Black Fountain Delay V3 also includes an expression control feature, enabling the use of an expression pedal to control Time, Feedback, or both simultaneously. With expanded delay time ranging from around 30ms to almost 1 second, users have ample control over the delay elements. The Fluid, Mix, Time, and Feedback knobs further enhance the control over the delay effect blend from 100% dry to 100% wet.
The pedal requires a 9V DC center negative 2.1mm jack power supply capable of 110mA (not included) and features a soft-touch bypass footswitch for true bypass and minimal switch noise. The Black Fountain Delay V3 is handmade in the USA and weighs approximately 300g. The pedal's dimensions are 66 x 120 x 58 mm.
