The Moogerfooger MF-101 Lowpass Filter by Moog is an analog effects module designed to work with any sound source. It is a direct descendant of Moog modular synthesizers and contains two complete modular functions: a voltage- controlled lowpass filter and an envelope follower. The lowpass filter has a cutoff frequency range of 15Hz to 12kHz and features a 2-pole/4-pole switch for selecting between 12dB/octave (bright) and 24dB/octave (deep) filter slopes. The resonance control varies the shape of the filter's response, from pure lowpass to actual oscillation.
The envelope follower section includes an envelope amount control, which adjusts the amount that the input signal's envelope sweeps the filter cutoff frequency, and a smooth/fast rocker switch for choosing between smooth and fast envelope follower response. The module also features a mix control for crossfading continuously from unfiltered to filtered audio, and a drive control for adjusting the audio input gain with a three-color level indicator.
The MF-101 is equipped with multiple CV/expression pedal inputs and outputs, allowing each parameter to be manipulated and controlled simultaneously, while also providing modular interconnectivity between other Moogerfooger analog effects. It also includes an on/bypass switch with a two-color indicator and a rugged, smooth-acting 'stomp switch'.
The pedal type is a filter, with 1 instrument input and 1 output, and it comes with a power supply. The dimensions of the MF-101 are 9" x 6" x 2-1/2", and it weighs 2 lbs.
