Big Cheese

The Lovetone Big Cheese is a fuzz pedal that was produced in the mid to late 1990s in the United Kingdom. It is known for its epic fuzz sound and innovative controls. The pedal features three knobs: "Curds" for gain, "Whey" for volume, and a tone selector that allows users to sculpt the tone by boosting or scooping the mids, as well as a "Swiss" gated mode. The Big Cheese is designed to deliver a brash, wild fuzz that works best when cranked up high in a rock setting.

The pedal's dimensions are approximately 5 1/2 inches in height, 5 5/8 inches in width, and 2 1/2 inches in depth at the deepest point. It is housed in a giant aluminum enclosure with a distinctive sharp cheddar paint job.

The Big Cheese is powered by a 9V battery via snap inside, or a 9V power adapter with a 3.5mm jack.
