Moai Maea

The KMA Audio Machines Moai Maea is an analog octaver pedal designed to produce a wide range of octave tones. It generates one higher octave with a fuzzy character, reminiscent of late '60s and early '70s octave-up tones, and up to two sub-octaves, effectively creating a massive wall of sound from a single note. The pedal features three modes, including the higher octave, the first sub-octave, the second sub-octave, or a combination of both sub-octaves.

The pedal also includes a serial buffered FX loop in the clean path and a phase inverter to prevent phase cancellation when mixing signals. Each octave section is foot-switchable, allowing for precise control over the generated octaves and the original signal mix.

The Moai Maea is handmade in Berlin, Germany, and features true-bypass switching. It is powered by an optional 9V PSU with a current draw of approximately 20mA.

Additionally, the pedal offers the possibility to create an individual mix of each generated octave and the original signal, providing expanded soundscapes for the user.
