Dark Driving

The Dark Driving by Fuzzrocious is a versatile overdrive/distortion effect pedal designed for both guitar and bass use. The Dark Driving V3 offers the following technical specifications and features:

- Runs at 9-12V, with the option to open up a little more at 12V
- Utilizes BAT46 diode for warm, compressed, and crunchy tones
- Offers a "dark/bright mod" via a 2nd footswitch to change the nature of the drive from a brighter tone to a muddier, darker one
- Features a diode modification allowing the user to switch between 9 different combinations of diodes to further shape the tone, including LED, asymmetrical LED, 1n4001, and asymmetrical 1n914 diodes
- Includes separate Gain and Drive pots for sculpting the drive/distortion
- Expanded Tone control for wider tone sweep
- Provides low to medium overdrive/distortion level, suitable as an always-on tone or for pushing amps/other pedals
- Offers a clean boost after the traditional Dark Driving circuit to stay above unity gain and add more volume
