Cat King

The Cat King by Fuzzrocious Pedals is a "king-sized" version of the Cat Tail, offering a low to high gain distortion with overdrive capabilities. The circuit is based on a classic distortion known for making a clean amp dirty and a dirty amp disgusting. The pedal has been tweaked to better meet the needs of both guitarists and bassists. It features a diode toggle for extra tweakability for clipping options, as well as the Beavis double resistor mod (Clipping 1 and 2 pots) to allow users to fine-tune how the signal clips on the highs and lows.

The pedal includes the following controls:
- VOLUME: Adjusts the output of the circuit
- TONE FILTER: Moves from treble to bass when turned clockwise, with a general high mids presence in most tone settings and little to no bass loss
- DISTORTION 1 & 2 Pots: Adjusts the drive/distortion from low to high
- CLIPPING 1 & 2 Pots: Fine-tunes how the signal clips on the highs and lows
- DIODE TOGGLE: Connects to the Diode pot to blend between 1n914 silicon diodes and LEDs
- DIODE: Determines the active diode setting
- FEEDBACK: Features the Momentary Feedback modification, providing feedback depending on settings on the filter, distortion, clip 1, clip 2, and diode toggle

The Cat King also offers momentary feedback modification, all-metal enclosure, hand-built and wired construction, and space-saving top-mounted jack sockets. It operates on 9V center-negative power and has a current consumption of 0 mA in bypass mode and 4 mA when engaged at maximum.
