Octron3

The Octron3 by Foxrox Electronics is an analog octave effect pedal that produces a note one octave above and a note one octave below the note you play. It features a variable mix of octave up, clean, and octave down signals. The pedal has a compact design and includes two additional switches that provide front-panel control of tone for both upper and lower octaves. The octave up circuit uses a pair of germanium diodes to achieve the octave doubling effect, with the option to select a bright and clear output or a more pure octave-up sound with less treble and fewer harmonics. The octave down circuit is an octave divider that tracks your dynamics and offers switchable tone options for a woody midrange punch or a deep, fat bass tone. The pedal can be powered by a 9-18V DC power supply or a 9V battery, with higher voltage providing increased headroom, particularly useful when using the pedal with a bass guitar.
