The Obscura by DigiTech is an analog-voiced digital delay pedal with up to two seconds of delay time. It offers four delay types: Analog, Tape, Lo-Fi, and Reverse. The pedal features dual input and output jacks for true stereo operation, a 9V DC 2.1mm center-negative power receptacle, and a Level control for adjusting the level of the delays from fully dry to fully wet. The Time and Repeats controls allow for setting the delay time and number of repeats, with the option for infinite repeats or self-oscillation. The Tone control adjusts the tone of the delay repeats, while the Degrade control varies the degradation and modulation effects based on the selected delay mode. The pedal also includes a Tap Tempo mode with Beat Divisions, a Delay Tails On/Off Switch for true bypass circuitry, and a soft-click, vacuum-style footswitch with a multi-colored LED. The Obscura is compact in size and offers true stereo inputs/outputs, making it a versatile and powerful compact delay pedal.
