The FOD-1 Fat Overdrive by Demeter is a versatile overdrive/distortion pedal that combines classic Fat Control/Midboost with a new Overdrive circuit. The pedal offers a wide range of overdrive sound variations, from fat crunch to extra fuzzy to over-the-top distortion. The Midboost control ranges from thin to ballsy, while the Overdrive features variable gain control from unity to over 100 times, with switchable silicon or germanium diodes for different overdrive tones. The pedal also includes a tone control, volume control, and loose/tight switch for further sound customization. The FOD-1 runs off a standard Boss type 9v power supply and is built using 13-gauge steel and heavy-duty hardware for durability.
