The Absolute Destruction by Death By Audio is a pedal that showcases little- to-no respect for traditional instrument sounds. It offers a thick, gnarly fuzz sound and a crushing distortion tone. The pedal features a Master Volume control for adjusting the output volume, an Overload slider to set the ceiling at which the pedal overloads, and a Gain slider to increase gain and distortion. The horizontal sliders are recessed to protect them from bending or accidental movement during play.
Technical specifications:
- Dimensions: 4.95" x 2.61" x 2.34" (including hardware)
- Weight: 10 oz.
- Power: 9V (runs on standard 2.1mm negative center 9V adapter or included 9V
battery)
- Current Draw: 5 mA
The Absolute Destruction harnesses a power amplifier IC to generate its unique sound, and its Gain and Overload sliders interact to create a wide range of sounds in various positions. It offers the flexibility to control the level of destruction, from smooth attack and release to screaming octaves and the sound of the guitar reaching back from the depths of destruction.
The pedal is hand-made in NYC and guaranteed for life, with a commitment to durability and repair if needed.
