The Wah-Swell by Colorsound is a vintage combination effect pedal that features a long rocker travel, providing a wide sweep from silent/mellow to full-on/treble frequencies. It offers a signal boost when in wah mode, giving it an added kick. The pedal provides a footswitch to toggle between volume and a boosted wah-wah. The circuit board uses two stacked potentiometers, one for the volume and the other for wah, allowing great control over the signal in either mode. The pedal is known for its aggressive tonal sweep and can produce extreme effects with muted lows and biting highs. The Wah-Swell is available in various colors, such as blue and purple, with chrome foot treadles. It is considered rare and has not been reissued to date.
