The RED VELVET FUZZ by Chase Tone features a high-quality 1970s style aluminum enclosure measuring 4” Long x 2.4” Wide x 1.5” High, making it palm-sized. The pedal is designed with a professional low-noise PCB design that includes a full PCB ground plane to enhance low noise performance. It offers stable performance on the road and operates on standard 9VDC polarity power, with the option for battery power. The components used in the pedal include vintage- spec, new production cherry-picked BC183C silicon transistors, low noise carbon film resistors, high-quality axial electrolytic capacitors, and metalized polyester capacitors. The hardware features hand-wired jacks and switches for reliability on the road, a rear-mount jack design to fit on virtually any pedal board, and a high-quality 3PDT switch wired for true bypass with minimal or no pop. The pedal also includes top hat all-metal black retro control knobs and a rear-mounted impact-resistant LED bezel with wide viewing angle.
