The MOOD by Chase Bliss Audio is a multi-effect pedal with two channels that are aware of each other and work together. One half samples and loops brief moments, while the other is a suite of real-time spatial effects. The pedal allows for spilling audio back and forth between the two channels for endless shaping, such as running a time-stretched loop through a cloud of delay taps, re-sampling it, and carrying on. It features an always-listening looper, allowing for instant gratification and capturing of audio. The wet channel offers a twist on the familiar ambient palette, with reverb descending into frequency-shifting at a turn of a knob, and skipping doppelgängers emerging from the auto-sampling Slip mode. Each of MOOD’s channels has its own unique way of acting on the other, with the micro-looping channel capturing effects from the wet channel within its loops, and the ability to send those loops back through the wet channel for further processing. The pedal also features advanced connectivity and customization options including MIDI, CV and Expression control, presets, and internal modulation of its knobs. The MOOD MKII version includes additional features such as stereo I/O, overdubbing, MIDI integration, and the ability to freeze and refresh each channel. It also offers advanced connectivity and customization options similar to the original MOOD pedal.
