The Meteore by Caroline Guitar Company is a Lo-Fi Reverb pedal designed to create expansive, ethereal textures for electric guitar. It features flexible controls, including Level, Attack, Regeneration, and Size, allowing users to tailor the sound to their preferences. The Attack control adjusts the amount of gain in the preamp, enabling the user to boost or overdrive the reverb sound while keeping the dry signal clean. Additionally, the pedal includes a "Havoc" switch for building up and quickly releasing the effect. The original signal path is kept analog and pure, with overdrive and regeneration controls that can take the sound from spring reverb to a much larger effect. The pedal is designed to be highly interactive, and as per Caroline tradition, it can produce very loud sounds. The Meteore is powered by a 9VDC center negative power supply (sold separately) or a battery, with a current draw of approximately 100 mA.
