RC-500 Loop Station

The BOSS RC-500 Loop Station is an advanced two-track looper with onboard mixing and deep control options. It features class-leading sound quality with 32-bit AD/DA and 32-bit floating-point processing. The stereo looper engine provides 13 hours of recording time, and the LCD with multi-color backlight allows for viewing loop status and editing parameters. The RC-500 offers mono/stereo inputs for easy pedalboard integration, along with an independent XLR mic input with phantom power. It also includes a reverse function and Loop FX (repeat, scatter, shift, and vinyl flick) for dynamic and engaging loop performances. Additionally, it has 16 different drum kits and 57 preset rhythms with A/B variations, as well as support for expanded control via external footswitches, an expression pedal, or MIDI. The RC-500 has onboard storage for 99 phrase memories, and it allows for backing up and loading WAV loops via USB. It can run on four AA batteries or an optional AC adaptor. The RC-500 is designed to capture, practice, and perform, offering a central playback hub for lesson material, jam tracks, or backing music for live performances.
