The DD-500 Version 2 software update brings powerful new performance enhancements and unparalleled flexibility to the pedal, including improved control parameters, routing options, and effects. The update also adds five new effect types to the current delay algorithms and introduces additional detailed tone-editing parameters.
The pedal's 12 delay modes allow users to create a wide range of delay sounds, from warm, gritty vintage delays to complex modern delay lines employing pitch shifting, filtering, and other unique processing. Each delay type includes a semi-parametric four-band EQ, modulation, ducking, and many other parameters for maximum precision in sound refinement.
The DD-500 supports analog pass-through on the straight guitar tone and offers the choice of buffered- or true-bypass operation. The large, integrated LCD provides clear visibility of delay time, patch ID, and more on one screen, with USB connectivity for remote editing and patch backup using the DD-500 Editor. MIDI I/O opens up additional control options for advanced setups with effects switching systems and other devices.
The pedal's freely assignable controls deliver unmatched creative expression and performance flexibility, allowing users to customize the A, B, and TAP/CTL switches for intuitive control of various functions, including tap tempo, hold, warp, twist, momentary effects, and more.
The DD-500 Digital Delay pedal is a versatile and powerful tool for creating a wide range of delay effects with exceptional audio quality and deep editing controls.
