The BOSS AD-8 Acoustic Guitar Processor features Roland's COSM modeling technology, transforming the Piezo pickup sound into the full-bodied tone of premium acoustic guitars. It offers six acoustic guitar models to choose from, including Martin D-28, Martin 000-28, Gibson J-45, Gibson B-25, Guild D-40, and a Jose Ramirez classical guitar. The AD-8 includes controls for Body and String Enhance, onboard reverb with adjustable settings, memory for four presets, an onboard tuner with mute function, and an anti-feedback feature. Additionally, it has an EQ section with Bass, Treble, Presence, and a sweepable midrange, as well as balanced XLR and unbalanced TRS output jacks for mono and stereo operation. The AD-8 can be powered using a Boss PSA style power supply or six AA batteries. The device is designed for easy usability and offers high-quality reverb tailored for acoustic guitar, making it suitable for live performances and studio use.
