Octahive

The Octahive by Beetronics FX is a super high-gain fuzz pedal with a pronounced high-pitch octave. It features a toggle switch that allows the octave mode to be turned on or off, providing a wide tonal range. In octave mode, the pedal delivers a nasty, splashy, and gated sound, ideal for high- gain leads, especially when played above the 12th fret. With lower gain settings, it can produce "ring modulator" overtones, suitable for creating textures. Rolling back the Pre and tone control of the instrument helps achieve a well-pronounced octave, while balancing the Pre and Honey controls is key to achieving a variety of different sounds.

When the octave mode is turned off, the pedal produces a warm and thicker fuzz tone, making it more versatile and suitable for chords. The Octahive is based on the 1970s Tycobrahe Octavia and is capable of producing classic and modern sounds, making it a great addition to any pedal board.

The Octahive v2, part of the Babee Series, draws inspiration from iconic '70s octave pedals, blending vintage tones with modern enhancements. In BUZZZ mode, it delivers a ferocious high-gain fuzz suitable for powerful chords and low riffage. Switching to OCTAVE mode creates a mind-bending psychedelic experience, with octave harmonics taking center stage when the PRE control is rolled down and the neck pickup is engaged. The pedal also offers three footswitch profiles for customizing the speed of momentary switching, allowing users to tailor the pedal to suit their unique vibe.
