Boosta Grande

The BBE Boosta Grande is an all-analog clean boost pedal designed to provide up to 20dB of gain without altering the original sound. It features a compact chassis to save space on pedal boards. The pedal is engineered to preserve the tonal balance of the amp, even with the maximum gain of +20dB, by mildly rolling off some top end starting at about 1kHz. This prevents excessive upper harmonics when the amp's front end is driven harder with gain. The Boosta Grande has a 1-meg Ohm input, similar to the front end of a premium tube amp, and uses 1% metal-film resistors for consistent tone and a rugged circuit board for reliability. It also features a true hardwire bypass when not engaged, allowing the signal to pass entirely around the circuit without loading. The pedal operates with a 9VDC power supply or a 9V battery, with a battery life of 300 hours. Its dimensions are 3.7" (W) x 4.7" (D) x 1.8" (H), and it has a shipping weight of 3.3 lbs.
