The Gain Changer Overdrive by Barber Electronics is a hand-made pedal in the USA. The Gain Changer SR model measures only 2.3” wide and offers a vast spectrum of EQ and gain. It features a toggle switch for switching between sweet very low-gain overdrive and wildly charged harmonic content. Another toggle-switch allows users to select between different EQ options, including flat sweet-EQ, vintage snarling-fat-EQ, or a new voice combining flat EQ with added fatness. The pedal is designed to be super-versatile and offers a generous 2 1/2” of clearance between the footswitch and the knobs to prevent accidental setting changes. The current draw is 12ma, and it operates on 9-18 VDC negative tip power (power adaptor not included). The Gain Changer Overdrive does not accept internal batteries and is priced at $199.95. It is available for purchase directly from Barber Electronics via email and PayPal.
