The CleanBOX II by ART is a hum eliminator designed to remove ground loops without any signal degradation. Its specifications include a frequency response of 10Hz – 50kHz, +/- .5dB @ +4dBu, THD of .01% Typical @ 1kHz, +18dBu, and <.05% @ 100Hz, +24 dBu. The insertion loss is .4dB @ 100kOhm Load and 5.5dB @ 600Ohm Load. It features ¼” TRS balanced/unbalanced jacks and requires no power (passive). The device is intended to minimize setup to one piece of equipment and can be used to experiment with placing it before or after offending units to remove hum from the system.
