The AMT B-1 is a 1-channel JFET guitar preamp designed for studio recording and live shows. It is part of the AMT Legend Amp Series and is based on analog modeling of physical processes occurring in real vacuum triodes during guitar signal limitation. The preamp is intended for admirers of a "clanking" sound with elastic punch, emulating the Sharp channel of the Bogner Triple Giant. It offers tremendous density and power of sound, thunderous lows, screaming highs, and scoopable mids, providing unbeatable heavy distortion sounds. The preamp features high-level output signal, true bypass circuitry, and two signal outputs: direct amplifier out for guitar amplifier use and cab simulation out for mixer or studio use.
