The Yamaha AG Stomp is an acoustic guitar pre-amplifier and multi-effector designed for acoustic-electric guitars. It is equipped with a mic simulator that can emulate condenser, dynamic, and tube microphones, providing a natural acoustic-electric sound. The pedal also features settings for nylon strings and includes feedback reduction to prevent unwanted noise. The AG Stomp offers four effects: limiter, chorus, delay, and reverb.
The pedal's top panel includes controls for manual settings, utility mode, and storing patches. It also features tone controls for bass, middle, treble, and presence, as well as output level control. The effect section includes controls for chorus speed, depth, and level, as well as delay time and volume. Additionally, it offers reverb effect buttons and feedback reduction buttons with frequency and depth controls.
The rear panel includes power, guitar power supply, MIDI, digital output, EXP pedal, and headphone jacks, as well as input and output jacks for connecting to mixers, amplifiers, and other devices. The AG Stomp can also be controlled using MIDI devices and foot controllers.
The pedal is powered by a supplied AC-10 power adaptor and can also deliver power to an electric-acoustic guitar's built-in pre-amplifier via the supplied TRS phone cable. It is important to follow the specified precautions for using the AG Stomp, including avoiding extreme temperatures, high humidity, and excessive dust, and using only the supplied power adaptor.
