The Spaceman Effects Orion Spring Reverb is a true analog spring reverb pedal, measuring only 6 ¼ by 4 ¾ inches, making it the smallest real spring reverb pedal available. The pedal features four control knobs with wide ranges for customization. The Dwell control allows users to adjust the intensity of the dual springs, offering options for splashy surf tones or mellower spring sounds. The Tone control sweeps between bright and dark reverb tones, affecting only the reverb signal. The Blend control allows users to adjust the dry to wet ratio, while the Volume control adjusts the overall output level of the pedal.
The Orion Spring Reverb is designed to eliminate spring splash when stomping on the pedal, and it is resistant to stage interference from kick drums and bass amps. Additionally, a swift kick to the front side of the pedal can confirm the presence of classic tank crash sounds.
