Description

The LPD Pedals Eighty7 Deluxe is an all-analog, two-channel overdrive pedal designed to deliver the iconic guitar sounds of the 80s. The pedal captures the modified Plexi and JCM800 tones that were popular in LA recording studios during that era. It offers two modes, Green and Red, each providing a wide array of gain and tone combinations.

The Eighty7 Deluxe features two complete independent Eighty7 channels, with Level, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls for each channel. It also includes a global Presence control. The Green mode is described as percussive and dynamic with plenty of body to punch through demanding mixes, while the Red mode is more saturated and compressed, suitable for liquid leads and chugging palm-muted rhythms.

This pedal is built with top-quality components and designed for durability and longevity. It offers internal bright switches per channel, soft-touch true bypass switching, and top-mounted jacks. The pedal operates on 9 volts and has a 24-volt internal operation from a standard Boss type 9-volt DC center negative power supply. The dimensions of the pedal are 4.5” x 2.375” x 2” and it weighs 9 ounces (255g).

The LPD Pedals Eighty7 Deluxe is suitable for musicians seeking 80's modded British tones and offers a versatile overdrive that can cover a wide range of guitar tones, including clean and edge of breakup preamp tones.

Overall, the Eighty7 Deluxe is highly regarded for its ability to deliver classic 80s guitar tones and its generous tone-sculpting features. It has received positive reviews for its sound quality, ease of use, and the company's customer service.
