MX5

The HeadRush MX5 is an ultraportable amp-modeling guitar effect processor designed for both home recording and live performance situations. It weighs just 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg) and features a high-resolution 4" touch display with a guitarist-centric interface. The MX5 is equipped with a custom-designed DSP system with powerful multi-core processing, offering an extensive library of 46 amplifier models, 15 cabinets, 10 microphone emulations, 300 impulse responses, and 63 premium FX. It also supports third-party impulse response (IR) files, providing virtually unlimited storage for IRs with 1024 and 2048 sample lengths.

The pedal allows for gapless preset switching with reverb/delay tail spillover, and it features easy-to-use stomp, rig, and hybrid footswitch modes. The MX5 also includes a fully assignable expression pedal for maximum control, a built-in looper with save and load functionality, and a global EQ feature for tailoring the sound to any space. Additionally, it offers recording and reamping capabilities via the built-in USB audio interface, with a comprehensive set of connections including a 1/4" guitar input, 1/4" TRS outputs, 3.5mm headphone output, MIDI input and output, and a stereo FX loop for external pedals.
