The Noodles by Ground Control Audio is a 3-band active EQ/boost pedal designed to provide versatile tone shaping capabilities. It features separate bass, mids, and treble channels, each with its own gain control and a choice of 3 carefully selected frequencies that the user can cycle through using a push button. The bass modes include 40Hz, 100Hz, and 280Hz, the mids modes include 400Hz - 2.8KHz, 800Hz - 2KHz, and 1KHz - 1.5KHz, and the treble modes include 2.8KHz, 4KHz, and 6KHz.
The pedal incorporates the same pre-amp technology found in Ground Control Audio's Amaterasu bright pre-amp and Tsukuyomi midrange boosters. Additionally, it utilizes a digitally-controlled solid-state analog signal routing system built around the ARM Cortex-M microcontroller platform.
The Noodles is designed to offer 64 different instant tone flex combinations, providing users with a wide range of tonal options for their musical applications. It is important to note that the pedal should only be powered with a center-negative 9VDC power supply to avoid damaging the circuitry and voiding the warranty.
