Full Moon Distortion

The Fender Full Moon Distortion is a high-gain distortion effect pedal designed to deliver brutal, high-gain tones suitable for heavy music. It features symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping modes accessible via the Texture switch, while the Bite switch adjusts the upper-midrange and harmonics to enhance pick attack. The pedal includes a 3-Band EQ for sound shaping, a flexible Hi-Treble control for adjusting the high end, and a switchable Boost providing up to 12dB of post-gain boost. The pedal also boasts LED-backlit knobs, a Fender Amp Jewel LED, and a magnetically latched hinged 9V battery door for convenience. It is constructed from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, making it suitable for rigorous use during performances.
