The Hypnosis Time Effects Processor by Dreadbox is a multi-effect unit designed to transform instruments into a sonic time capsule. It features three independent effects, including an analog spring reverb with a unique variable time pre-delay, an all-analog warm BBD chorus-flanger circuit, and a hybrid delay based on the Erebus synthesizer onboard effect. The unit also includes two wide-range LFOs, with one hardwired for the chorus and one free for patching, as well as 11 patch points for versatile connectivity.
The Hypnosis Time Effects Processor can accept input from guitar/mic levels up to modular gear, and it is compact, USB-powered, and suitable for desktop or Eurorack modular format. The unit is USB-powered (1.5 Watts) and can provide 45 playing hours with a 20,000mA portable power bank. It has 3.5mm MONO TS jack in and out, 3.5mm MONO TS patch points, and its CV inputs work best with +/-5V (but can accept +/-12V). The LFO CV out provides +/-5V, and the unit's dimensions are 21.5 x 13 x 6.5 cm, with a weight of 1.1 kg.
The Hypnosis Time Effects Processor also comes with specific requirements, including a USB-A adapter (5V) with 1000mA or more, a sound source, and a monitor, amp, or headphones. The package includes the Hypnosis Reissue Eurorack module, a 42 HP case, and a ribbon cable.
