Compulator

The Compulator by Demeter is a pro-level optical compressor designed to deliver classic studio optical compression of the 60s and 70s in a compact stomp box form factor. It is known for providing even levels and bright, punchy gain without compromising the original tone. The unit features two controls: compress and volume, along with a foot switch to bypass the effect and an LED to indicate effect operation. Additionally, there is a trim pot to set the overall gain of the unit, and the compress knob offers up to 30dB of gain reduction. The volume knob adjusts the output volume of the Compulator, allowing for level matching between the affected and unaffected signal. The unit is powered by a 9-volt DC supply, which can be either external or internal using a 9-volt battery. The steel enclosure and heavy-duty hardware make the Compulator a rugged and durable unit suitable for both studio and live performance environments.
