The Topanga by Catalinbread is a spring reverb pedal based on the outboard Fender 6G15 spring reverb unit from the 1960s. It is designed to produce the iconic surf guitar sound and other classic guitar tones from that era. The pedal is run in front of the amp, causing the reverb signal to distort and sound more intense. It features a Dwell knob to control the intensity of the springs, a Tone knob to adjust the treble, and a Volume knob for a clean boost. The mix control ranges from fully dry to 100% wet, and it also includes an internal bypass mode switch. The pedal operates on a 9-18V DC power supply and consumes 64mA of power. The dimensions of the Topanga pedal are 1.96" in height, 2.36" in width, and 4.33" in depth, with a weight of 0.40 lbs.
