The Blackstar HT-DISTX is a high-gain valve distortion pedal designed to deliver ultra-high gain tones. It features a robust construction and offers precise control over volume, EQ, and distortion. The pedal includes the 'ISF' (Infinite Shape Feature) dial, which allows users to select their preferred tone signature, ranging from a more American characteristic with a tight bottom end and aggressive middle to a British characteristic with a "woody" and less aggressive tone. The HT-DISTX operates on a 300VDC anode supply voltage, providing a true high-voltage design for authentic tube-like dynamics and range. Additionally, it is powered by a proprietary 16V AC power supply and utilizes a single 12AX7 preamp tube for its two-stage gain. The pedal's responsive controls enable a wide range of distortion options, making it a versatile tool for achieving various high-gain tones.
